Pay it Forward

pay_it_4ward[1]

Just after Christmas I was visiting Aussie Maria's blog when she was doing a 'Pay-it-Forward' giveaway. She had received a gift from a blogging friend, and wanted to pass on the kindness. I was lucky enough to be one of the winners, and a little package arrived all the way from Down Under last week. (It was another thing that made me happy, but I felt it deserved a little blog post of its own!)

When I opened the package I was thrilled to discover a double sided potholder, made especially for me. One side, knitted in my favourite colour, purple, is a gorgeous kitty ...

while on the other side, to remind me of who sent it, is a map of Australia!

She also sent me a very sweet little knitting charm - just perfect! I have a few knitting charms that Nancy sent me from a swap on Ravelry, so I shall add this one to them.

Thank you so much Maria! And now I am going to pay it forward too! All you have to do to be in with a chance of winning a little gift is to leave me a comment between now and Sunday night, when I next post. I'll randomly select three people to be winners! Go on - it could be you!! xxx

Hi Josiekitten,

I'd love to join in and I promise to pay it forward if I'm chosen!

I notice that you support Pompey, did you go to college here or are you a native?

I saw this once before and thought it was a great idea, but thought I had too much going on. I might still, but I love little knitter adventures like this.
