I've finished spinning the first half of the BFL today - it's a little bit thick and thin in places, but I think it will be fine when plied to knit a hat or a cowl.
I also went rummaging in my boxes of fibre to dig out some rather beautiful BFL that I won in last year's Tour de Fleece. It's from Chris at Briar Rose Fibers and her colours are just glorious. Not too sure quite how to spin it yet - I have 10 ounces, so in theory I could get quite good yardage. Should I spin it as a single, or two ply it, or N-ply? Suggestions please!! I've a couple of days before I'll be ready to start it. See you tomorrow! xxx

Or you could do a 4 ply cable, Sarah Anderson describes how in her book. It is very satisfying to do & eliminates barber poling. Glad to hear that you survived the residential and OFSTED.
i think it looks gorgeous!
hooray for the tour de fleece!!
