When I was in Norwich this week, I popped into The Forum to take a look at what was going on during Makers' Month. It's a free event, running over about 4 weeks, and it promotes a huge variety of creative activities, including knitting, crochet, sewing, quilting, spinning, weaving, drawing and painting. There are drop-in activities, exhibitions and bookable workshops too. Local craft groups, creative businesses and individuals are involved. What a fabulous opportunity to learn something new. It is running until Saturday 25th February, so you've still got time to check it out. Here's a little of what was going on when I was there. Does anything catch your eye? xxx

Hi,
My favourite picture is the one of embroidered cornflowers and poppies I would love to achieve something like that.
I think the nearest I will get to that is growing cornflowers and poppies in the garden I love to see other people's work and marvel at their skills.

Lots of colour and exciting things going on! Ros x
Makers' Month looks fantastic - I wish we had something like that near here. Is that free motion embroidery in the last photo? I quite fancy giving that a go or maybe a bit of weaving. It looks like a wonderful place to visit. xx
