Another traditional Christmas bake for you today - stollen! I had never eaten stollen until I met Mr JK and then it became a staple of our Christmas fare. Baked with marzipan inside, brushed with melted butter and sprinkled with icing sugar, just like Mr JK's mum made. We never came across her recipe so we have had to make do with one from Paul Hollywood. The first time we made it, it was an absolute monster and barely fitted onto the baking tray. So from then on, we made it into two smaller ones. It's delicious... and impossible to eat just one slice! xxx
