Farewell dear friend

I had to say goodbye to my beautiful Flo last week. She had been unwell for the last couple of weeks and an ultrasound scan showed several masses in her abdomen as well as enlarged lymph nodes. The vet said that there was nothing that could be done to help her so I made the decision for her to slip away while she was still sedated from her scan. She was my best girl and constant companion, especially after Mr JK died and throughout lockdown and the house feels horribly empty and quiet without her. I hope that she's curled up on Mr JK's lap with unlimited cheese Dreamies close at hand. Sleep well Flo. xxx

Oh, Helen, noooo. I'm so very sorry. 💔 We've come to know and love sweet Flo over these many years, and I know how hard this must be for you. Our pets mean so much to us, and are such faithful and loving companions. I'm sure she must have found Mr JK by this time and they are basking in the sunshine thinking of you. ❤️

I am so very sad to hear this heartbreaking news, Helen. I loved hearing your stories of Flo, she was a wonderful companion for you and a yarn loving kitty who appreciated a snuggly afghan and a sunny spot; she was living her best life in a perfect home. I grieve with you and send love and gentle hugs.

I am just catching up with this sad news. I am so sorry you have had to say goodbye to your darling girl, the heartbreak is awful for you. We are all sending kind thoughts especially the Italian cousins, take care of yourself and maintain the high standards of crafting that Flo always demanded. She was a gem, xx

Josie, I'm so sorry. I have loved seeing Flo as well as your knitting over the years.
I know the pain of loosing a beloved cat and empathize. Take comfort from the fact Flo had a long and happy life, where she was loved.
I'm imagining her playing with Thug, Mewsley and Purcy, somewhere in cat heaven.
Sending Hugs xx
