Spooky sock time!

Halloween is looming and although it was never a big thing growing up as my brother’s birthday was the same day, I couldn’t resist getting a Halloween sock set from one of my favourite dyers of self-striping sock yarn - Stripey Cat Yarns. This set is called Spooky Speckle and there should be plenty of yarn to knit a couple of pairs of socks. Whether or not I’ve left myself enough time to actually knit them is a completely different matter! I’ve put them in my Zombie project bag from Three Bags Full. Check out the eyeball lining fabric!  I have some fun spooky progress keepers from Chapel View Crafts which I’m excited to use as they glow in the dark! xxx

Oooo .... I look forward to seeing your spooky socks. I am cracking on with my Seagull o'clock socks in the yarn that I won in your draw a few weeks ago; they are gorgeous, I must get them up on Ravelry so that you can see them.

I love everything about this - the spooky yarn, the progress keepers and especially the zombie project bag. Happy Hallowe'en knitting! xx
