I promised you some photos of my finished sweater and here they are. In the ThreeBagsFull group on Ravelry, we held a KAL to knit one of BabyCocktail's sweaters. I had heard of Thea before, but hadn't really taken much notice of her designs up 'til the start of the KAL. Just take a look at all the designs I had to pick from here! I finally settled on Vodka Lemonade, a top down cardigan (no seaming, yay!!) and three quarter length sleeves. The yarn I used was from Sincere Sheep, a mix of Polwarth and silk and it was a real treat to knit with. I ended up making the body longer than the pattern stated, but kept the sleeves shorter. I can see me wearing it a lot. I love the little lacy details on the fronts and back, and the seed stitch collar and edging.
We have just started another Sweater KAL in the group, this time knitting a sweater in time for Rhinebeck. The sweater has to be cast on some time after May 1st and finished by October 13th. There are some great prizes too! There is even a team event, where current members of the group pair up with new members (joining on or after May 1st) and if each knits a sweater and posts a photo in the finished thread, they could win a prize. There are no restrictions on designers this time, you can knit anything you like! So does anyone fancy joining me and making a team for the ThreeBagsFull Rhinebeck Sweater KAL? Read all about it here and then get in touch with me, either by leaving me a message on my blog or pm'ing me on Ravelry. I am hoping to knit more than one sweater, so in theory, I could make up more than one team!! Think big is my motto! If you are up to the challenge of knitting a sweater between now and October, then I'd love to hear from you! xxx
PS I will be back tomorrow to announce the winner of my tape measure cosy giveaway!

That is the perfect sweater for this time of year. Like you, I prefer longer body lengths. My arms are very long as well, so I always have to buy extra yarn.
Love this! The colour is lovely, as are the three-quarter sleeves and detail. Another one for the list! Rosx
it's beautiful!!
This is gorgeous! I love the moss stitch collar and the lace work at the bottom. The colour is beautiful too.
I love this cardigan, lots. Are you still looking for a new team member for the KAL? I am very interested.
